The pleasure of collecting can be enhanced by allowing others to view one's collection. This is not only because of the sense of personal pride derived from doing so, but more importantly, because such sharing experiences can oftentimes develop into lifelong friendships. Personal experience has been that others with considerably fewer years of collecting can frequently make observations or comments that can be insightful and informative. Interaction between collectors, especially enthusiastic ones, frequently leads to new insights and invariably adds to the body of knowledge. It is with these thoughts in mind that these web pages are published. It is hoped that by communicating with the publisher at peterj@thehaiticollector.com progress will be made in a variety of different Haiti collecting areas and that this web site can be expanded considerably. At present this site consists of only images but this site will soon be expanded to include articles in a variety of different collecting areas. This site is dedicated to all Haiti collectors, regardless of what they collect.
